Word Of Mouth Tour Company is a 501(c)3 non-profit theatre company whose mission is to inspire all audiences by creating original and collaborative works of art. We promote new works by young playwrights. We create an atmosphere that nurtures new ideas and a modern style of theatre. We do things a bit different, speak a different language and create a different way of experiencing a performance.
WHO ARE WE?
Louis Farber- Founding & Active Artistic Director is an actor, a writer and the Artistic Director of Word Of Mouth Tour Company. He holds a BA in Theatre from Arizona State and has worked as an actor professionally in Boston, Los Angeles and New York. Louis co-authored The Line , Lucinda in Jam Town: a Cinderella story and The Teeny Tiny Town with fellow WOMTOUR founder Jeremiah Clay Neal. The play The Line was selected as a semi-finalist winner at the 2011 Bonderman Symposium at Indiana Repertory Theatre. Their musical Lucinda In Jam Town: a cinderella story, world premiered May 6, 2011 at Pennsylvania Youth Theatre. He has performed for several local companies including Childsplay T.I.M.B. and Stray Cat Theatre and has been nominated for an Arizona Theatre Award. Louis also directed a critically acclaimed production for Stray Cat Theatre in December of 2011. Stray Cat Theatre is well known for “quirky, edgy and irreverent indie theatre at its best and scratching the Valley’s itch for a visceral, provocative theatre experience.” In August 2008 Louis performed in SHOTS a love story at the 12th Annual New York International Fringe Festival. He was the tour manager and performed with the Boston Flamenco Ballet in their productions of Don Quixote, Cyrano De Bergerac and The Three Musketeers. Louis has extensive experience and training in fight choreography and has choreographed fights for over 14 productions. He has also taught acting, stage combat, and improvisation locally. He believes that the there is a strong need for excellent programming geared towards teenage youth here in the valley and is excited to aid in the production of challenging new works that spark discussion and energize action within the youth-artist community.
Ruth Sager- Managing Director. Ruth is a stage manager and puppeteer that has been working in the Valley for the past seven years. She holds a BA in theatrical arts from Arizona State University. Some of her favorite credits include: Elf Initiation, Teeny Tiny Town, SCAT LIFE: a night of experimental puppetry and improv jazz, James and the Giant Peach, The Seagull, Twilight’s Quest, Buffalo Buffalo Buffalo, and The Water Dog.

Jeremiah Clay Neal- Founding Member/Managing Director- is a performing artist originally from Las Vegas, Nevada. He holds a BA in Communications from UNLV and an MFA in Theatre for Young Audiences from Arizona State University. Published plays for young audiences include U:Bug:Me!, and The Kid Who Ran For President. Neal has performed professionally as both an actor and a musician all across the country and worldwide. In 2009, Neal cofounded Word of Mouth Tour Company in Tempe Arizona creating plays with and for young audiences. He coauthor the works: Lucinda in Jam Town, The Purple Dragon, The Line, and The Teeny Tiny Town with Louis Farber, and has released the music albums: Claybyrd, and Stories of Our Lives.
